John Vail has specialized in the industrial commercial real estate field for the past twenty years. In that span of time, he has assisted in the acquisition/disposal of millions of sq. ft. of industrial commercial investment real estate for a wide variety of clients from owner/managers to government departments and not for profit entities to subsidiaries of large publicly traded corporations within tightly budgeted time and dollar constraints. His achievements on behalf of his clients have been recognized by numerous top national service awards including Hall of Fame and #1 in Canada.

John's background prior to the real estate field included Senior Financial Policy Analyst for the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services, Director of Finance for a newspaper subsidiary of Torstar Corp., and audit experience with Clarkson Gordon & Co. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Toronto and is a Certified Management Accountant.

John has served on the Boards of 7 organizations, including Oakville, Milton and District Real Estate Board Chair, Oakville United Way Chair, Toronto Real Estate Board Director and Chair of Finance, Oakville Chamber of Commerce Director, Community Foundation of Oakville Director, Canadian National Exhibition Association Director, and Wentworth Condominium Corporation 103 Chair. He a a participating member of the Directors College, Canada's gold standard of Director Education, a Canada wide collaboration of the McMaster University DeGroote School of Business and the Conference Board of Canada.
